Contracts & Governance Manager

The Leicestershire College is looking to recruit an experienced Governance and Contracts Manager to lead a small team, reporting to the Director of Governance & Legal Services.

The post holder will be responsible for managing the tracking, monitoring and compliance of all college ‘contracted’ provision. (To include subcontracting-in, subcontracting-out, all commercial contracts, HE, International and Apprenticeship contracts.)

The successful candidate will also manage the newly merged team, which handles complaints, appeals and data protection issues, while supporting the College’s governance function.

To be considered for the position candidates should be able to demonstrate good leadership and be target driven and self-motivated. A detailed knowledge of both operational and legal contracting activities is essential as the post will involve interpreting specialised data, and problem solving on a daily basis. Experience of Further Education subcontracting rules will be an advantage.
